This data migration role delivered a Proof of Concept based on Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft SQL Server to enhance business visibility in critical areas. My responsibilities included modelling and implementing an entire suite of Microsoft Power BI connected to a newly created Data Warehouse system. Some databases/data warehouses resided in the Azure cloud and incorporated unstructured data. Using the Kimball classical approach, I actively contributed to building a complete Data Warehouse by migrating data from legacy systems via custom/cloud transformation tools to easily retrieve and visualise information by the Police Force Intelligence. The data amalgamation contained hundreds of tables and various data sources such as CMS, HR ERP, and RMS solutions, as well as Microsoft Excel and other non-structured data.

Moreover, I positioned myself as a data enabler providing loads of documentation like Best Practices, Data Dictionaries, Data Models, Visio diagrams and architecture documents.
